When asked to describe the SmallWorld partners, people tend to converge on one iconic image: Yin and yang, the Chinese symbol of complementary opposites.
“So many people have told us we’re like yin and yang,” says Vanessa. “And it’s true. We’re complete opposites, but we work beautifully together.”
While Tracy inhabits the world of the creative inspiration, Vanessa focuses on business development and strategy. While Vanessa is ruled by passionate impulses, Tracy is the voice of reason.
“If you meet us individually, you wouldn’t understand us at all,” says Tracy. “But when you meet together, we make perfect sense. Our partnership works because we’re so different.”
